Digital House on the Prairie was centered on the idea of high function and utilization from America’s days of quilting, with many pieces being reversible to highlight this. There’s a bit of a 40s/50s post-war silhouette (even a dickie to be worn solo as a top!) as well as a natural modern update with pixelated and rounded graphic forms, bringing the natural 8-bit pixel aesthetic together with it’s quilting forerunner. The dance film was choreographed by the incomparable Jessica Jolly and was inspired by the NYC Ballet’s NY Export: Opus Jazz
